Andrew Eugune Pettitte's name is synonymous with the Yankees and a winning tradition.

Pettitte is at the top of almost every major statistical category in Yankees history, including the All-Time Strikeout leader in franchise history.

The 2009 campaign would end up being a Cinderella season for the Bronx Bombers. The last year playing in "The House that Ruth Built", the Yanks would end up winning 103 games and defeating the reigning World Series Champion Phillies, in 6 games, in the World Series. This would give Pettitte, and the other 3 members of the "Core 4", Jeter, Rivera, and Posada, their 5th, and final World Series Championship.

Offered here is a rare opportunity to own well documented Yankees jersey worn by the legend himself.

This jersey was used in Pettitte's first start of the 2009 campaign, April 10th, when Pettitte took the mount in Kansas City. He would go on to pitch 7 innings of 3 hit, 1 run ball, while striking out 6 Royals. He would go on to earn his 1st win of the season and 216th of his career.

This Majestic, size 50, tapered, grey, away Yankees jersey shows signs of light wear, as to be expected for a pitcher. Featured on the left sleeve is a 2009 Final Season at Yankee Stadium Patch. Attached to the Majestic Manufactures tag is an MLB Hologram, verifying the game used of the jersey, as well as a Steiner Hologram. The Steiner LOA, as well as a Grey Flannel Auction LOA is included. This fantastic Pettitte example has been matched to April 10th, 2009, through photos on Getty Images.
